Société de Gestion Ekuanitshinnuat Inc. (SGE) is a management company created by the Innu Council of Ekuanitshit. Its primary role is to oversee and manage commercial activities that impact the community of Ekuanitshit. As a for-profit entity, SGE’s mission is to increase the collective wealth of the community. It holds interests in various sectors, such as fishing, construction, and transportation, and reinvests a portion of its profits to foster the economic development of the community.

A notable project under SGE is Innukoptères Inc., a wholly Indigenous company that began operations in 2010. Innukoptères provides high-quality helicopter transportation services in various sectors, such as utilities, infrastructure maintenance, support for mineral exploration, search and rescue operations, and environmental conservation. The company is located at the Sept-Îles airport, and the Innu Council of Ekuanitshit is the main shareholder.
