Please read the Terms of Use and privacy policy of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform carefully before registering. By creating a user profile, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms of use and privacy policy.

Frequent review of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy will inform you of any changes or modifications that may be made. Société du Plan Nord reserves the right to modify and update the platform's terms of use and privacy policy at any time without notice.

Services Provided

The Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform is made available to you in order to facilitate networking between principals, suppliers, and service providers who wish to obtain contracts with public or private companies.

Copyright

All content published on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform is protected by copyright held by Société du Plan Nord or, as the case may be, by the users who provide the content. The content of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform is the exclusive property of Société du Plan Nord. It is forbidden to copy, distribute, broadcast, modify, reproduce, or publish the content of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform in any way whatsoever without the prior authorization of Société du Plan Nord.

The content of a contract, goods, or services offer is protected by copyright held by the client, supplier, or service provider. In particular, it is forbidden to copy, distribute, broadcast, modify, reproduce, or publish an offer on another site or platform without the owner's authorization.

It is forbidden to use any trademark appearing on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform without the written authorization of Société du Plan Nord or, as the case may be, the holder of such trademark.

Platform Use

You agree to use the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform only to post, send, and receive messages related to contract, goods, or services offers. Société du Plan Nord is not required by law to verify the content or information transmitted by platform users.

You are solely responsible for and acknowledge the risks involved in agreeing to post your information on the website. Clients, suppliers, and service providers are solely responsible for their postings on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform.

Due to constant change, information on the site cannot be updated at all times. Société du Plan Nord cannot be held responsible for your search choices, the accessibility of the targeted sites, the contracts, goods, or services offered, the answers obtained, your search results, or the inherent decisions resulting therefrom.

You agree, without limitation, not to do any of the following while using the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform:

• Use the platform for surveys, chain letters, spamming, pyramid schemes, commercial advertising or any other purpose;
• Defame, insult, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, such as the right to privacy;
• Publish, post, upload, distribute, or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, document or information;
• Propose, solicit, or attempt to introduce messages of prohibited or illegal activities, or any criminal acts without limitation;
• Upload or make available files containing images, videos, photos, software, or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, for example, copyrights, trademarks, unless the user owns or controls these rights or has received the necessary authorization to do so;
• Use documents, falsify, or delete information, including images, videos and photos that are made available through the platform in a manner that violates any copyright, trademark, author attributions, legal notices, or personal designations, labels of origin, company logo or software source, or other material contained in a file patent, trade secret, or proprietary right transmitted on the site, of any third party;
• Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other software, act of piracy, use a robot, or similar program that may damage site operation, computers, or the property of others;
• Deliberately transmit false statements, or incomplete or falsified information;
• Display or publish obscene, vulgar, sexual or pornographic images, photos, or videos;
• Restrict or inhibit any other user from using the platform;
• Violate any code of conduct or other principle applicable to the platform;
• Gather or collect information about other users, including e-mail addresses, in order to harass or harm them;
• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Create a false identity or impersonate any person for the purpose of misleading others;
• Use, download, copy, or provide (with or without fees) to any person or entity any platform user directory, or other information about another user, or the use of any of the foregoing.

Société du Plan Nord has no legal obligation to sort or control the information available on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, nor to verify the veracity of the content, texts, documents, offers, or to verify the ability of principals to honor their contracts, nor the quality of the goods or services offered by suppliers and service providers. However, Société du Plan Nord may, at its sole discretion, verify the materials posted on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform and remove any materials that violate the Terms of Use, or revise, delete, or refuse to post any information or materials, in whole or in part, and may terminate a user's access to the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform at any time, without notice, for any reason whatsoever.

You are entirely responsible for the compliance of all your content, behavior, and actions, and release Société du Plan Nord, its management, staff, agents, and representatives from all liability for any disputes that may arise between users.

Société du Plan Nord reserves the right to provide, at any time, any information deemed necessary to comply with the law, the terms of use, or any government request, at its sole discretion.

Use of Robots

The use of automated systems, robots, or similar means (e.g., devices, software, routines, or automated queries) to use the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, or to collect or use data, including to register a contract, goods, or services offer, or to create a user profile, is prohibited. Any action that imposes an unreasonable or undue burden on the infrastructure of the site offering the service, or any action that could impair the security or accessibility of the service (e.g., interference, computer virus, overloading, attempted takeover, security, or authentication breach) or enable the same, is also prohibited.

Username and Password

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password, and Société du Plan Nord shall not be liable for any unauthorized use of your account. In the event that the confidentiality of this information is compromised, you must contact Société du Plan Nord by e-mail as soon as possible to avoid any possible fraudulent use of your identity. Société du Plan Nord will not be held responsible for any damage or loss resulting from non-compliance with the terms of use.

Content Liability

Société du Plan Nord cannot guarantee the veracity, accuracy, or reliability of the information contained in the contract, goods, or services offers and user profiles posted on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques platform. Société du Plan Nord cannot guarantee that the identity of each user is accurate. Consequently, the Société du Plan Nord cannot be held liable for any damages in this regard, including unauthorized use of a user's login and password.

By creating a user profile, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the form, content, and accuracy of the information you enter and the personal information you communicate to third parties.

Société du Plan Nord is not responsible for any damages that may result from the illicit use of personal information that a person may enter in his or her profile or transmit to a third party (e.g., a principal), notably by e-mail, through a hyperlink or via a third-party website.

Liability Limitation

By creating a user profile, you expressly acknowledge that use of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform is at your sole risk. The Société du Plan Nord, its management, employees, agents, and representatives do not guarantee that the Réseau d’affaires nordiques platform will operate uninterrupted or error-free, nor do they guarantee the results that may be obtained from use of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, nor its accuracy, credibility, or content.

This liability waiver applies to any damage or harm caused by failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, operation delay, transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft, destruction, and unauthorized access, alteration, or data usage, whether by breach of contract, misconduct, negligence, or any cause of action. You specifically acknowledge that Société du Plan Nord is not responsible for the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of third parties and that the risk of damages resulting from the foregoing remains yours.

Under no circumstances shall Société du Plan Nord, or any person or entity involved in the creation, production, and distribution of the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages resulting from the use of, or the inability to use, the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform.

In addition to the foregoing, Société du Plan Nord shall not be liable, regardless of cause or duration, for any errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or other defects in the information contained on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, including its inauthenticity, or for any claims or losses arising out of the use of the platform. Société du Plan Nord shall not be liable for any claims or losses of any nature whatsoever that third parties may suffer as a result of using the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, including but not limited to lost profits and damages.

Indemnification

By creating a user profile, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Société du Plan Nord, its management, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all losses, claims, and demands, including reasonable attorneys' and legal representatives' fees, arising from any content submitted, posted, or transmitted by you or anyone using your password or username on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, your use of or connection to the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform, or any other breach of the Terms of Use.

Use of Information

Société du Plan Nord may use your contact information to determine your level of satisfaction with the Réseau d’affaires nordiques platform.

Fraud

Any fraudulent use of personal information is punishable up to imprisonment. Anyone using the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform to commit or attempt to commit fraud may be reported to the police.

Language

In accordance with the Charter of the French Language, the official language of Quebec is French.

All offers of contracts, goods, or services published on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform must be in French, which does not preclude them from also being published in another language.

Please note that Société du Plan Nord uses only French in its oral and written communications, unless otherwise stipulated by law.

Applicable Laws

These terms of use are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec.

By creating a user profile, you acknowledge that any dispute relating to your use of the platform, or the terms of use will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of Quebec, Province of Quebec.

Société du Plan Nord attaches great importance to everyone's right to privacy. That's why we've created this Privacy Policy to protect your integrity and your right to protect your personal information.

The purpose of this policy is to govern the collection and use of personal information on the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform that you provide to us on a voluntary basis as part of the creation of a user profile.

Please note! You must protect your personal information at all times.

The Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform may contain user-added hyperlinks to other websites. These sites are not systematically verified and are not the responsibility of Société du Plan Nord. Please be careful with any personal or confidential information you transmit to third parties via these hyperlinks or in any other way.

By creating a user profile and providing certain personal or confidential information on a voluntary basis, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use

Société du Plan Nord does not collect any personal information when you access the Réseau d’affaires nordiques Platform without logging in to a user profile. However, certain information is automatically collected by our computer network. This information does not allow Société du Plan Nord to identify you, but it does include the IP address through which you access the platform. This information may be used for statistical purposes, in particular to evaluate and analyze the frequency of access to the platform and its traffic.

However, by creating a user profile, you consent to Société du Plan Nord contacting you through a secure e-mail automation platform in the event of a problem with the Réseau d’affaires nordiques platform.
